ANTOR has been established for the exchange of views on matters of mutual concerns and interests within the travel industry. As tourism administrators, our reason for being is to promote and facilitate the growth of tourism from the South Africa travel market to our respective destinations.

How can a National Tourist Office help you ?

National Tourist Offices are there to provide tourist information to the public, travel agents and members of the press on their respective countries abroad. They also work together on projects of common interest through their membership of ANTOR.

• Well-trained staff who know the country well and give you useful travel tips.  You can visit, phone or write to them.

• Information and brochures on what to do, what to see, where to stay and how to travel around the country.

• Display material, training and new product ideas for travel agents.

• News material and photographs for the press.

• Help with presentations for groups or large organisations.

ANTOR’s objectives include a fraternal forum for its members to meet and exchange ideas, to forge close relationships with all other sectors of the travel industry, to be recognized as one of the foremost advocates of responsible tourism and to comment on a wide range of issues affecting worldwide travel and tourism.

Each destination office work individually and independently, to inform the South African public and trade of the tourist attractions of the country. Please visit our members’ page to view more on each destination.
