The INDIA Tourism Office in Johannesburg was setup by the Ministry of Tourism Government of India as the Government of India Tourist Office with the specific mission of promoting tourism to India from the African region.
The office has the jurisdiction over the African continent (excluding Egypt).
The Director of India Tourism Office, Johannesburg is responsible for promotion of various Indian tourism products and also to increase India’s share of the global tourism market in Africa through an integrated marketing and promotional strategy and a synergized campaign in association with the Travel Trade, State Governments and Indian Missions.
